Suspended sediments and water turbidity are serious matters as they can trigger severe health problems and hygienic implications.
Water turbidity Decantation, is the process which reduces water turbidity by the elimination of suspended matter present in the raw water and which cannot be removed by simple gravitational effects. Since most particulate matter is colloids, coagulants are added in order to destabilize the charges and permit the compounds to form flocs that can more easily be decanted thereafter.
Akdolit's solution
Akdolit allow the reduction of water turbidity using lime-based reagents that modify the pH and allow for optimal decantation since this process is pH sensitive.
