In this step, soft water as well as scaling water can be treated in order to attain calco-carbonic equilibrium. The main objectives are therefore hardening or pH adjustment of soft water and softening of scaling water. Moreover, additional objectives can be fulfilled (such as metals elimination, etc.) due to the favourable pH produced.
This step is conducted before the main steps of soft or scaling water treatment, that are filtration and decantation (coagulation, flocculation are included in decantation), to fulfil the overall water quality objectives.
Akdolit's solution
We treat soft or scaling water using carbonates, half-burnt dolomites
and lime-based reagents
that
modify the calco-carbonic equilibrium and
produce a favourable pH environment.
